The General Assembly of Members is the governing body of ERA EUROPE and this meeting is the time when our membership votes on important issues affecting the association.
No key decision can be confirmed by the Board of Directors without a formal vote of the quorum of 30% of the members. The format for the Annual Meeting is generally as follows.
- Discussions: An open dialogue with the association’s leadership – the forum for ERA Members to express their views, to inform the leadership about the key issues they face in the running of their businesses, and how they would like the association to help wherever they operate in Europe and Middle East.
- Networking: Ample time for networking and catching up with regular usual business partners and for introducing yourself to the most recent new members of ERA EUROPE.
- Local excursions: We often arrange special events which allow members to fully experience each city where the meeting is held.
Member responsibilities
- There will be proposals which the General Assembly must debate, approve or amend (in accordance with our by-laws). All the topics will be of great industry importance: Government Affairs, the industry positions we present in your name in Brussels; to the protection of the future of our industry; to the promotion of common business-to-consumer relations ethics through Self Regulation.
