ERA EUROPE Self Regulation documents
Self Regulation is an integral part of the membership by-laws of ERA EUROPE.

Its objective is to help member companies assess the organisation and resources in place to conduct business with consumers in a responsible way, from the commercial communication stage to the back-end phase of the transaction.
The ERA Europe Self Regulation Charter is a minimum set of standards that the association expects its members to implement. These standards do not supersede or replace national regulations that are applicable in the markets where members operate.
ERA Europe Self Regulation Programme Procedures (pdf) This document governs the steps and communication between the member company and the Self Regulation Officer, during the course of the member’s enrolment in the programme.
ERA Europe Self Regulation Charter (pdf) This is the Charter itself which must be completed and signed by every ERA member company. It can either be printed and faxed back, or filled in online with the final page printed and faxed or emailed.
Once the application has been approved the ERA member is entitled to display the ERA Europe ‘Shop With Confidence’ seal.
